Ukraine's Constitutional Conundrum

An great editorial on Ukraine's Constitutional Conundrum. It briefly proposes that the Ukrainian crisis is very similar to what happened in Moscow in 1993 when Yeltsin broke the constitution and led Russia towards a path to autocracy.

I must say that I think there are many parallels but it is not the same as what happened in Russia. Ukraine thankfully has a constitutional system and Yuschenko has not broken the constitution. He has not disbanded the opposition and he has not hijacked the mass media.
